Barndominiums, custom homes, and move-in-ready builds.
Three ways to get a new home on the South Plains. All three come with one contractor, one contract, and one person to call.
The practical way to build big.
A barndominium starts with a metal building shell, either steel-frame or post-frame, and finishes inside like any custom home. Because the shell carries the roof, the interior can be as open as you want it, and shop, garage, or storage space fits under the same roofline for far less than a separate building.
- Steel-frame or post-frame shell, metal roof and siding
- Open floor plans with vaulted ceilings
- Shop, garage, or RV space attached or under one roof
- Spray-foam or batt insulation sized for West Texas summers and winters
- Interior finish from practical and durable to fully custom
- Porches, patios, and outdoor living built into the plan
Site-built, to your plan.
If you want a conventional stick-built home, we build those too. Bring a plan you already love, or start with a conversation and we will develop one that fits your lot, your budget, and how your family lives.
- Slab foundations engineered for local soils
- Conventional framing with brick, stone, stucco, or siding exteriors
- Full selections process for finishes, fixtures, and appliances
- Written scope and price before construction starts
- Change orders in writing, priced before the work happens
Skip the design phase.
We periodically build homes ahead of a buyer, mostly barndominiums, on land we have chosen for it. If timing matters more than customizing every detail, ask what is finished or under way. Availability changes, so the best answer is always the current one.
One contractor. A crew of specialists.
We are a general contractor. Every trade on your home, from dirt work and concrete to framing, metal, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finish, is done by an established local trade partner we have chosen and we supervise. You sign one contract with us, and we are responsible for the result.
Written scope
What is included, what is not, and what it costs, in writing before we start.
Scheduled phases
Each phase has a plan and a trade partner assigned before the previous one wraps.
One point of contact
Questions go to one person who knows your job, not a call center.
Common questions
Do I need to own land first?
No. Plenty of people talk to us before they buy. Knowing what you plan to build helps you choose the right lot, and we are glad to weigh in on a piece of land before you commit to it.
How long does a barndominium take?
It depends on size, finish level, and how quickly decisions get made. The shell goes up fast; the interior finish is where most of the calendar goes. We will give you a realistic schedule with the written scope, not a guess on the first call.
Can you work from plans I already have?
Yes. Send them over. We will review them for buildability on your site and price them as drawn, with notes on anything we would change.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. Permitting, inspections, and utility coordination are part of what a general contractor does, and they are included in our scope.
What about financing?
Construction lending is different from a standard mortgage, and barndominiums sometimes need a lender who understands them. We can point you toward local lenders who do.
